Stranger Within Me is a film by Mehmet Özcelik . It's a psycho-thriller. It describes Johannes's down trip after a divorce and Mona's and Marianne's fatal encounter with Johannes. Stranger Within Me describes how the principal, Johannes, desperate after a divorce, tries to escape from the strange landscape within himself. In his flight from passion, he comes across two women, and does experiments with them. Is it real or just a dream? The film is on the surrealistic side, though the story is a classical one. |

In April she played together with Runi Lewerissa at the Royal Theater. Niels played by Jørn Gottlieb - currently free-lance, has played lots of parts in films and TV productions. Has many jobs as speaker for radio and cartoon series. Mona played by Rikke Lylloff - is a "young shooting star". She is one of the students at the Odense Theater School. Filmen er en psyko-thriller om Johannes' nedtur efter en skilmisse. Og hans fatale møde med Mona og Marianne. Filmen blev optaget på kun 9 dage i august 2000. Den har 19 locations rundt om i København og omegn. Ialt er der optaget 291 takes fordelt på 97 indstillinger. Da filmen ikke har modtaget offentlig støtte, har alle i filmen arbejdet gratis. MEMO film håber, at udgifterne spiller sig hjem igen. Filmen er skudt på Super16 og vil i første omgang udkomme i en tv-version i 16:9 formatet. Spørgsmålet er om hovedpersonen Johannes virkelig ønsker at tilintetgøre de kvinder, han møder i flugten fra den gamle kærlighed, og om han finder sig selv? Det er en film i retning af det surrealistiske, klassisk fortalt. |
